Born and raised in Houston, Texas, French is an abstract-expressionist artist who is fully self-taught. While breaking away from a family legacy of athleticism, French discovered the power of vulnerability and expression in art. His intuition and natural aptitude for his work have served him well in his few short years of painting; LaMonté French sold every piece in his first exhibit, “FUEGO”, within twenty-four hours.
